SMP.
What is SMP?
SMP (scalp micropigmentation) is a non-surgical scalp treatment: micro-needles place pigment dot by dot into the shallow layer of the scalp, mimicking follicles so that thin or bare areas look denser.
AOh!'s Microblend SMP (MSMP) refines the dot placement and needling of standard SMP. The dots themselves improve how the hair looks; our currentregenerative SMPalso infuses a hair-care serum during treatment to nourish follicles and improve the scalp environment, helping to slow shedding and encourage new fine hair (results vary).

How many sessions do I need, and how long does it last?
Depending on the area, usually 2 to 4 sessions over about three to four months. Results generally last 3 to 5 years; colour retention depends on your scalp, lifestyle and aftercare.

Can SMP damage the scalp or follicles?
Pigment sits in the shallow layer of the scalp, above the depth where follicles grow, so the needle doesn't touch them.
We work in stages to match the scalp's renewal cycle; each time we map the placement and avoid follicles before needling, so density is built up session by session rather than all at once.

Does SMP hurt?
We work in the upper scalp with an ultra-fine micro-needle. On a scale of 10, most people rate it around 2–3 — even people who are sensitive to pain can usually manage it, though experiences vary. A session takes about two hours; you can lie back with your phone or take a nap.

How is pricing calculated?
Pricing depends on the area of scalp to be treated. WhatsApp us 1–2 photos for an initial quote, or book an in-studio consultation.

Can I colour my hair after SMP?
Yes. Asian hair follicles are dark, and hair dye doesn't change the follicle colour. For the most seamless look, we recommend darker shades.

What pigments and tools do you use?
We use carbon-based pigments made for the scalp, imported from Korea and the US and meeting FDA and KOTITI standards. Micro-needles and all other tools are single-use and sterilised.

Brows.
How do I know which brow style suits me?
Every treatment starts with a one-to-one consultation. We look at your face shape, proportions, natural brows, personal style and make-up habits, then design the shape and shade. Colour only goes on once you approve the design.

How long do tattooed brows last?
Usually 1.5 to 2 years, depending on your skin and lifestyle. We use imported pigments, and the colour fades naturally over time.

Will my brows scab? How do I care for them?
Light flaking for about 5 to 7 days is normal. During this time keep your brows dry and don't use make-up remover on them. We'll give you full aftercare instructions and an aftercare kit.

Can I have my brows done if I still have natural brows?
Yes. Both ombre and hairstroke brows add colour or strokes on top of your natural brows to make them fuller and more defined, without damaging them.

Does my first brow treatment include a touch-up?
Yes. Your first treatment includes one free touch-up, usually 4 to 6 weeks later, for more even, longer-lasting colour.

What if my brow colour changes?
If your brows turn reddish, greyish or bluish, please contact us and we'll arrange what's needed for your situation.

Will they look fake — like a cartoon character's?
Natural is our focus. We set the shape around your face, proportions and style rather than using one thick brow for everyone. The design is drawn on your face first, and colour only goes on once you approve.

Booking and payment.
How do I book?
WhatsApp 9747 5087 to arrange a time. If you haven't decided yet, book a free 20-minute one-to-one consultation at the studio first.

Is the in-studio consultation free?
Yes. The consultation takes about 20 minutes, one to one, with no hard sell.

Can I ask about prices first?
SMP is quoted by area: just send us 1–2 photos of the thinning area. Shoot the crown from above, the back from behind, the hairline from the front, and both sides. You can also WhatsApp us about brow styles and prices.

Do I need to pay a deposit? Can I reschedule?
A deposit is required to book. To reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours in advance and get confirmation; otherwise the deposit is non-refundable.

Aftercare and notes.
How should I prepare for SMP?
- The studio doesn't offer hair washing. Please wash your hair the day before or on the day, so oil doesn't affect pigmenting and retention.
- For two weeks before SMP, avoid colouring, perming or other treatments that may affect the scalp.

What should I do after SMP?
- For better retention, don't get your scalp wet or wash your hair for 24 hours afterwards; avoid exercise that makes you sweat heavily for 3 days; and avoid swimming and saunas for 2 weeks.
- Don't scratch your scalp, or the pigment may come away. Ask us for a soothing balm if needed to ease itching while it heals.
- Avoid sun exposure and keep your scalp dry.
- During recovery, go easy on spicy food and avoid smoking and alcohol where possible.
- During recovery, avoid swimming pools, beaches and other places where infection is more likely.

What should I do after brow tattooing?
Light flaking for about 5 to 7 days is normal. During this time, keep your brows dry and don't use make-up remover on them, so the flakes come away naturally. We'll give you aftercare instructions and a care kit when we finish.

Who isn't suitable for SMP?
Treatment may not be suitable if you have:
- Allergies or skin prone to scarring
- A recent scalp injury
- Scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic dermatitis or haemangioma
- Infectious diseases such as hepatitis or STDs
- Skin infections such as acne or folliculitis
- Unstable mental health
- Serious conditions such as diabetes or heart disease
- Blood disorders such as haemophilia or clotting problems
If you're unsure whether it's suitable, let us know when you book.
